Draft Resistance in the American-Vietnam War

These interactive stories are a part of our project for the University of Utah Honors Praxis Lab: Legacies of the American/Vietnam War from Diverse Perspectives Course. Our project focuses on draft resistance during the War and what the stories of individual draft resisters can tell us about the populations that resisted more broadly. To disseminate our work, we have created three interactive stories for each of our primary populations of interest: Montagnard draft resisters in Vietnam, American draft resisters who went to Canada, and Chicano draft resisters in the United States. Each of these stories provide a number of different pathways that tell the stories of draft resisters through a personal lens. We invite you to download and interact with each of these stories, choosing different paths and selecting different options for each population, in order to understand the legacies of draft resistance during the American Vietnam War.
